The unit fits select PowerEdge R520, R620, R720, R720XD, R820, T320, T420 and T620 servers plus PowerVault DL4000, DR4100 and DX6112 storage arrays. It is intended for administrators maintaining or expanding those specific platforms.

750 W capacity with Platinum headroom

The 750 W rating supports fully populated dual-socket configurations with multiple drives and PCIe cards in the listed chassis. Redundant pairing lets the remaining unit sustain the load if one fails, so headroom is preserved during a fault.
