The Cubilux CB5 USB Audio Adapter Z14-22BK converts a single USB port into two stereo microphone inputs, a line-in, a line-out and a headphone jack for recording, streaming or podcasting. It supports Windows 10 or later and macOS without requiring external power. Buyers who need more than two microphone channels or dedicated MIDI connectivity cannot use this adapter.

Check your USB port and headset plugs

Verify that your computer has an available USB-A port for the adapter connection. Ensure your microphones, instruments or headphones use standard 3.5 mm stereo plugs matching the five onboard jacks. Note that the line-out and headphone output share circuitry and cannot operate at the same time. The unit draws power from the USB bus so no separate supply is needed.

Recording quality at sustained sample rates

The built-in Hi-Res DAC delivers up to 96 KHz/24-bit on microphone inputs and up to 192 KHz/32-bit on line and headphone outputs during continuous sessions. THD+N remains at or below .01 percent across supported rates. Maximum input levels are .6 Vpp for microphones and 5.4 Vpp for line sources, while the headphone amplifier drives loads up to 250 Ohm without added noise.
