The Computar Ganz JB-1 delivers a pre-assembled surveillance kit combining an iPak HWB-2 housing with a ZN-C1 VGA PixelPro camera and 2.8-12mm IR auto iris lens. Heater, camera and lens arrive factory-fitted so installers can mount and connect without handling loose components. Pre-wired power and ethernet cables run through a feed-through bracket that keeps wiring concealed. The package targets installers who need a ready-to-deploy analog solution for exposed locations.

Sustained operation in exposed conditions

The integrated heater maintains camera function during prolonged cold periods while the IP65-rated aluminum housing protects internal electronics from rain and dust. Auto iris control adjusts aperture continuously as ambient light shifts across day and night cycles, preventing sensor saturation without manual intervention. 24VAC supply powers heater, camera and lens simultaneously through the pre-wired loom, avoiding voltage drop on long cable runs. The fixed VGA resolution remains constant regardless of recording duration.

Thermals noise and power profile

Aluminum housing dissipates heat passively so the unit runs silently with no moving parts apart from the lens iris. Heater draws additional current only when ambient temperature falls below its trigger point, keeping average power draw low in moderate climates. IP65 seals prevent moisture ingress that could cause condensation on optics during thermal cycling. Ceiling bracket option (JB-1) allows alternative mounting without altering the thermal path.
