The Computar Ganz HWB2-38AC2M combines an IP65-rated aluminum housing with a pre-installed ZN-C2M PixelPro camera and 3-8mm megapixel IR auto-iris lens. Pre-wired power and ethernet cables run through a feed-through bracket that conceals connections. The kit operates on 24VAC input and includes a heater for cold environments. Multiple mounting options are supported with an optional JB-1 ceiling bracket available separately.

Continuous outdoor operation with heater

The integrated heater enables reliable function across temperature extremes without condensation buildup on the lens. Auto-iris control adjusts aperture continuously as lighting shifts from daylight to darkness, maintaining consistent exposure during 24-hour recording cycles. The fixed 3-8mm focal range covers wide-angle to moderate telephoto views without motorised zoom mechanisms that can wear over time. PixelPro sensor output remains stable during extended capture sessions.

Weather-sealed housing manages thermal load

IP65-rated aluminum enclosure protects internal electronics from dust ingress and water jets in all weather conditions. The heater draws additional current only when ambient temperature demands it, keeping baseline power draw low on the 24VAC supply. Passive dissipation through the metal chassis handles camera and lens electronics without active cooling fans. Concealed cable routing prevents water tracking along wires into connection points.
