The Climax Metal Products 2C-075-S is a two-piece clamping collar machined from 303 stainless steel. It fits a 3/4 in round bore and secures shafts without marring the surface. Maintenance teams and machine builders use it for quick positioning of sensors, pulleys or limit switches on inch-series shafts.

Inch-Series Shaft Interface Limits

The collar accepts a 3/4 in diameter shaft and presents a 1 1/2 in outside diameter with a 1.81 in clearance diameter. Its 1/2 in width and carbon-steel clamping screws deliver holding force through friction alone. The design lacks a keyway, so it cannot transmit torque positively and is unsuited for high-vibration drives that demand a mechanical lock.

3/4 Inch Bore Capacity and Headroom

The 3/4 in bore handles standard inch-series shafts up to that diameter with a slip fit. Radial space is defined by the 1 1/2 in outside diameter and 1.81 in clearance circle, limiting use in tight housings. Axial load capacity depends on screw torque and shaft finish; the collar runs out when the application requires a keyway, a larger bore or a one-piece design for maximum rigidity.
