The PD port accepts up to 60W at 20V/3A, but the host device must support power delivery for charging to work. On devices without PD the adapter can only charge or play audio, not both, and charging takes priority. The digital-to-analogue converter handles sample rates of 44.1, 48, 96, 192 and 384 kHz at 16, 24 or 32-bit depth, while the microphone input is limited to 48 kHz at 16-bit.

Installation notes and common issues

Plug the adapter into the USB-C port, then connect your 3.5mm device and a USB-C charger if needed. Volume control does not work with Apple headsets or an iPad Pro, and phone calls are not supported on the Galaxy S8, Note 9 or iPad Pro. The adapter follows the CTIA wiring standard, so OMTP headsets will not function correctly. It is not compatible with GoPro cameras.
