What this cable set is and who it fits

This two-pack of SATA III data cables uses a 90-degree right-angle connector on one end to simplify routing inside compact chassis. Each cable is 0.2 metre long and rated for 6.0 Gbps throughput while remaining backwards compatible with SATA 1.0 and 2.0 ports. Builders adding 2.5-inch SSDs, 3.5-inch HDDs or optical DVD drives in tight spaces will benefit from the angled profile.

Check your existing setup before ordering

Verify that your motherboard, RAID controller host card or other host device presents a standard 7-pin SATA data port and that the target drive also uses a 7-pin SATA connector. The cables are female-to-female with a locking latch on each end, so ensure there is enough clearance to depress the latch when inserting or removing the plug. Remember that actual transfer speed will be limited by the slowest device in the chain.

How the cables integrate into a build
