Short patch cable for tight runs

This two-foot Cat6 patch cable fits between devices that sit close together — router to switch, console to wall plate, PC to dock — without leaving slack to manage. It terminates in standard 8P8C RJ45 plugs on both ends, so it drops into any Gigabit port on a modem, switch, PC, NAS, smart TV or gaming console. The yellow jacket and clear snagless boot make the link easy to identify in a crowded rack or behind a desk.

Unshielded UTP with gold-plated contacts

Because it is unshielded twisted pair, the cable needs no ground drain wire and installs like any standard patch lead; just plug both ends and the link negotiates at Gigabit speeds. The 24 AWG stranded bare copper conductors and 50-micron gold-plated Triplex contacts resist corrosion and keep insertion loss low across the four twisted pairs. The snagless boot protects the locking tab during frequent moves, so the clip stays intact in dense patch panels or tight desktop ports.

Tested to 550 MHz for Gigabit and short-run 10G

The cable meets the Cat6 standard and is verified to 550 MHz, well above the 250 MHz minimum, giving headroom for 1 Gbps Ethernet and 10 Gbps over short distances. It is backward compatible with Cat5e infrastructure, so it upgrades existing drops without re-termination. Runs longer than the two-foot length or installations that require shielded cabling for noisy environments fall outside what this UTP patch lead is built to handle.
