High-density patch cable for 10 Gbps networks

This Cat6a slim patch cable is built for high-density cabling in conference rooms and datacentres. The 28 AWG conductors reduce the cable diameter so airflow is improved in crowded racks. Passive cable with no thermal or noise output

As a passive copper patch cord it generates no heat and produces no audible noise. Power draw is limited to the PoE current carried by connected devices rather than the cable itself. The slim 28 AWG construction allows tighter bends without increasing temperature in the bundle. Normal use adds no measurable thermal load to the cabinet.

The cable is rated for 10 Gbps Ethernet up to the full 328 ft channel distance defined for Cat6a. At 6 ft it serves as a short patch link between switches, panels or PoE endpoints.
