Verify signal type and cable reach

Confirm your source outputs 12G, 6G, 3G or HD-SDI and that the cable length matches the supported distances: 12G-SDI up to 70 m, 6G-SDI up to 100 m, 3G-SDI up to 190 m, HD-SDI up to 250 m. Ensure the destination display or recorder accepts HDMI 2.0 at the required resolution and frame rate. Check that 3.5 mm analogue stereo or HDMI audio meets your monitoring or recording chain. The converter requires external power; verify the supply is available at the install location.
