mSATA to M.2 Adapter Card

This BUCIER adapter converts a Mini PCIe mSATA solid-state drive into the M.2 NGFF form factor. It fits 27 mm half-height and 50 mm full-height mSATA modules and presents them to socket 2 (B Key) or socket 3 (M Key) slots. The card complies with PCI Express M.2 specification 1.0 and the SATA III specification.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Verify that the source drive is a genuine mSATA Mini PCIe SATA SSD; the adapter does not accept Mini PCIe PATA, 1.8 inch Micro SATA or Airbook modules. Ensure the target system has a free M.2 socket 2 or socket 3 slot with the appropriate keying. Confirm the operating system supports boot from this interface if a boot drive is required.

Sustained-Load Behaviour

Data transfer runs at up to 6.0 Gb/s under continuous operation, matching the SATA III link speed. The PCB includes three mounting holes for 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths and four holes to secure the mSATA drive, keeping the assembly stable during extended workloads. Thermal performance depends on the host system airflow as the adapter adds no active cooling.
