Outdoor bullet camera with 36 IR LEDs

The Bluecctv BL-HVF36 is an HD-SDI outdoor bullet camera that delivers a 2 megapixel Full HD 1080p image through a 3.6mm fixed lens. It uses a 1/3 inch Panasonic CMOS sensor and a Korean DSP to produce colour reproduction described as closer to the real environment with reduced noise and clearer motion trails. The camera is aimed at installers who need a straightforward analogue high-definition solution for perimeter or entrance monitoring.

Upgrade from standard analogue to HD-SDI

This unit replaces conventional analogue cameras that top out at lower TV line counts by providing HD-SDI output at 1080p or 720p alongside a simultaneous analogue output. The jump is worth it when existing coaxial runs can carry the serial digital signal without rewiring, giving a 1000 TV line plus picture and true day/night switching via an ICR filter. It is not for sites that require IP networking, motorised varifocal lenses or resolutions beyond 1080p.

Build around RG59 or RG6 coax with crimp connectors

The camera needs RG59 or RG6 cables terminated with crimp or compressed connectors to maintain HD-SDI signal integrity over distance. Dual video output lets it feed both an HD-SDI recorder and a legacy analogue monitor during migration. Thirty-six IR LEDs provide illumination up to 100 feet in zero lux conditions while Smart IR prevents close-range overexposure. It does not suit installations that cannot run coaxial cable or that demand PoE power.
