20 ft Cat6 550 MHz Patch Cable

This 20 ft Cat6 patch cable delivers a 550 MHz channel rating for Gigabit Ethernet runs. The UTP construction uses solid conductors inside a PVC jacket. It suits structured wiring jobs that need a verified Cat6 link over a standard desktop or patch-panel distance. The Black Box EVNSL647-0020 model is supplied new.

Replaces lower-rated Cat5e or untested Cat6 leads

Swap this in when an existing cable fails certification or when a 550 MHz channel margin is required for PoE+ or 1 Gbps uplinks. The jump is worth it if the current link shows errors, retries or speed negotiation drops at the full 20 ft length. It also fits new drops where the spec calls for a Cat6 550 MHz channel.

Limited to the Cat6 550 MHz channel specification

The cable meets the Cat6 550 MHz channel test but does not extend to Cat6A or Class EA performance. Alien crosstalk margins are not guaranteed beyond the Cat6 limit. Runs longer than the installed 20 ft length would need re-certification. The PVC jacket is not rated for plenum or outdoor use.
