The Black Box EME106A ServSwitch Wizard extends VGA video, USB keyboard and mouse signals plus audio up to 1000 feet over CATx cabling. It supports all USB 1.1 devices and USB 2.0 peripherals that operate in low-speed or full-speed USB 1.1 modes. This unit suits environments where servers must remain secured or where physical space near the workstation is limited.

Sustained Operation Over Distance

Signal integrity is maintained across the full 1000-foot link for continuous keyboard, mouse and monitor use without the degradation seen in shorter-run extenders. High-bandwidth monitors are supported at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 throughout extended sessions. The USB 1.1 and compatible USB 2.0 device handling remains stable during prolonged operation in high-density rack deployments.

Upgrade From Direct Connect

This extender replaces direct-attached KVM setups when the CPU must be relocated beyond cable reach or isolated for security.
