Shielded CAT6 cable for structured wiring

Upgrade from unshielded or lower-category links

Replacing a plain UTP patch cord with this shielded version reduces alien crosstalk and external noise pickup on the same pathway. The jump is worth it when cables run parallel to power lines, fluorescent ballasts or dense bundles in a rack. If the existing installation already uses shielded CAT6 or higher, the improvement will be marginal.
