The Bitspower NEBULA water block is engineered exclusively for the MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Lightning Z graphics card. Its custom dimensions align precisely with the PCB layout, ensuring full coverage of the GPU core and surrounding power delivery components. This specialist fit makes it suitable only for owners of that specific model; builders using any other RTX 5090 variant or different GPU entirely cannot install this block.

Build Quality and Connections

A nickel- and chromium-plated copper cold plate provides a durable, corrosion-resistant mating surface for efficient heat transfer. The clear acrylic top reveals the internal flow channels and houses an integrated Digital RGB LED strip for lighting synchronisation. Four G1/4 threaded ports allow flexible inlet and outlet routing, while a reinforced aluminium backplate adds structural rigidity and assists passive rear-side cooling. Pre-applied thermal pads simplify the installation process.

Thermals and Power

The full-cover design transfers waste heat from the GPU and VRM areas directly into the liquid loop, enabling the RTX 5090 to sustain higher boost clocks during extended workloads. By moving thermal load to an external radiator, the block reduces the demand on the card’s original air cooler, which typically lowers system fan speeds and overall acoustic output. The restrictive nickel-plated copper base and acrylic top require a pump capable of maintaining adequate flow through the dense internal channels.
