12V 7AH SLA replacement for APC Smart-UPS

This sealed lead-acid battery replaces the UB1280 unit in APC Smart-UPS 1400RM and 2200RM3U models. It uses absorptive glass mat construction to prevent electrolyte leakage in any mounting orientation. The maintenance-free design requires no watering or specific-gravity checks during its service life. It is classified as non-spillable for safe transport and handling.

Upgrades aging UPS batteries

The unit serves as a direct 100 percent OEM replacement when the original cells no longer hold sufficient charge for runtime requirements. Swapping the battery restores full backup capability without replacing the entire UPS chassis. The change is worth it when runtime has degraded below the level needed for safe server shutdown or when the UPS reports a battery fault. It is not suited for applications that demand a higher ampere-hour rating than 7AH or a different voltage platform.
