Sealed 12 V AGM battery pair

This pack contains two sealed lead-acid batteries rated at 12 volts and 1.2 ampere-hours each. They use absorptive glass mat construction so electrolyte is held in glass-fibre separators and cannot leak. The design recombines over 90 percent of gas generated during normal operation. No watering or specific-gravity checks are required throughout the expected floating service life of four to seven years.

Non-spillable classification limits

Because the batteries are classified as non-spillable they meet International Air Transport Association requirements for transport in any orientation. The sealed case and gas-recombination system prevent electrolyte escape from terminals or separators. There is no provision for adding water or measuring electrolyte density, so maintenance-free operation is the only supported mode. They cannot be serviced or refilled once installed.

Capacity and runtime boundaries

Each unit delivers 1.2 Ah at 12 V, providing a modest energy reserve for small UPS modules or backup devices. The pair doubles the available ampere-hours when wired in parallel for the same voltage. Runtime will suit low-draw loads such as network gear or a single workstation for a short period. Heavier server loads or extended outage requirements will exceed the practical capacity of this size.
