The Axis Communications 02504-001 Q1805-LE is a bullet-style network camera that delivers 1080p video with a 32x optical zoom. It is designed for security teams who need detailed coverage of large outdoor areas such as car parks, perimeters or building entrances. The deep-learning analytics run on the camera itself to detect and classify people or vehicles without extra server hardware. Buyers who require thermal imaging or multisensor panoramic views will not find those capabilities here.

Build quality and connections

The silver aluminium housing is rated for outdoor installation and includes electronic image stabilisation to reduce vibration blur from wind or nearby traffic. A single PoE connection supplies the camera and provides PoE out to power an additional device such as a strobe light or speaker, reducing cabling runs. Axis Edge Vault secures device identity and encrypts stored keys at the hardware level. Installers who need fibre uplink or redundant power inputs are not supported by this model.

Bundled value

The camera ships with the Axis analytics suite pre-licensed, so object detection, loitering alerts and cross-line counting are ready to configure without separate licence purchases. Firmware updates are signed and delivered through the vendor’s secure pipeline, keeping the deep-learning models current. No local recording media or mounting bracket is included, so integrators must supply storage and hardware separately. Users who expect a bundled NVR licence or SD card will need to source those items.
