Aqua MPO Female Fibre Cable

The Axiom OM4 multimode cable uses 50/125 µm fibre terminated with MPO female connectors on both ends. It spans 26.25 ft and is coloured aqua for quick identification in high-density patch panels. Flame-retardant jacketing and RoHS compliance support deployment in regulated environments. Locking latches secure each connection against accidental disconnects.

Suited for parallel-optic links

This assembly fits networks that require MPO female interfaces on multimode OM4 infrastructure. Installations needing single-mode fibre, LC or SC terminations, or male MPO connectors should select a different cable. The fixed 26.25 ft length also means it will not suit runs that demand a shorter or longer reach.

OM4 50/125 µm multimode fibre

The 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter defines the bandwidth and distance capability of this cable. It determines compatibility with OM4 transceivers and the maximum supported link length for the target data rate. Verify that the active equipment specifies OM4 multimode before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the 50/125 µm multimode fiber connect to my existing OM3 patch panels?

Yes, OM4 is backwards compatible with OM3 equipment, so the 50/125 µm core will work with your current OM3 patch panels and transceivers.

How can I confirm the 26.25 ft cable is performing correctly after installation?

Use a visual fault locator to check for continuity and a power meter to measure insertion loss across the MPO female connectors.

Does the aqua jacketed cable include mounting hardware or cleaning tools?

The box contains only the 26.25 ft MPO female to MPO female cable; mounting brackets, cleaning kits and polarity management tools are sold separately.
