Static-pressure optimisation

The ARCTIC P14 PWM is a 140 mm case fan finished in white and designed for builders who need strong airflow through restrictive components. It targets static-pressure scenarios such as CPU heatsinks and liquid-cooling radiators where standard airflow fans lose effectiveness. The four-pin PWM connector allows motherboard or controller speed regulation across the full operating range.

200–1700 RPM PWM range

The single specification that decides fit is the 200–1700 RPM speed range governed by the 4-pin PWM interface. At 1700 RPM the fan delivers 72.8 CFM (123.76 m³/h) with a noise level of 0.3 Sone, so the curve must be tuned in BIOS or software to balance cooling and acoustics for the specific radiator or heatsink used. Without PWM control the fan will run at maximum speed continuously.

Standard 140 mm mounting

Installation uses the usual four screw holes found on any 140 mm fan mount, so no special brackets or adapters are required. The pressure-optimised blade geometry means the fan performs best when mounted directly against a radiator or heatsink; leaving a gap or using it as an unrestricted case exhaust wastes its design intent. Cable routing is straightforward with the standard 4-pin connector reaching most motherboard headers.
