Apollo Globe Valve 3/8 in 316 SS

The Apollo 60B70201 is a 3/8 inch globe valve machined from 316 stainless steel for air, fluid and gas service. It uses FNPT x FNPT connections in a tee-shaped body with a rising stem and cross handle. The valve is rated for 10,000 psi maximum fluid pressure at 100 degrees F and 10,000 psig maximum air pressure at the same temperature.

Build quality and daily mounting

The 316 stainless steel body resists corrosion in demanding fluid environments while the rising stem design provides clear visual indication of valve position. FNPT threaded ends allow direct installation into female NPT pipework without additional adapters. The cross handle offers positive grip for manual operation in industrial settings. The tee-shaped body creates a fixed flow path that cannot be reoriented after installation.

Pressure and temperature limits

Maximum fluid pressure is 10,000 psi at 100 degrees F with an identical 10,000 psig air pressure rating at that temperature. Steam service is not rated for this valve. The 100 degree F maximum fluid temperature restricts use to ambient or cooled media only. Buyers needing higher temperature tolerance or steam compatibility must select a different valve design.
