Drop-in 12 V 108 W cartridge for Back-UPS 1500

The RBC33 is a sealed lead-acid battery cartridge designed to replace the internal pack in APC Back-UPS units such as the BT1500, BR1500 and BX1500. It arrives fully assembled with the required connectors and a recycling guide so the swap can be completed without tools. Compatible UPS models also include the SC1000 and SN1000 series.

Three-to-five-year service life under continuous

The maintenance-free chemistry is rated for three to five years of standby operation at typical room temperature. Each cartridge contains two 12 V blocks wired in series to deliver the 108 W capacity the UPS expects during an outage. Runtime scales with the connected load, so a fully charged pack supports the attached equipment until mains power returns or the battery reaches its low-voltage cutoff.

Leak-proof sealed construction keeps heat

The suspended-electrolyte design prevents spills even if the cartridge is tilted during installation. Because the battery sits inside the UPS enclosure, it relies on the unit’s existing airflow; no additional fan noise is introduced. Power draw during recharge follows the UPS charger profile, and the sealed cells generate only modest warmth during normal float charging.
