Sustained Detection and Alert Behaviour

Practical Limits of the NCV Interface

Non-contact sensing works only on alternating current within the stated 11 V to 1000 V windows and cannot measure direct current or voltages outside those bands. Battery power is required for all functions, so a depleted cell disables both detection and the screwdriver illumination until replaced.
