Wired Backup Camera Kit

This Advent licence-plate camera mounts at the front or rear of a vehicle and connects to a 12 V monitor or head unit through a supplied 32.8 ft RCA cable. The 170° viewing angle and 45° lens adjustment cover blind spots when reversing or pulling forward. Seven built-in LEDs and a 1/2.7 inch CMOS sensor deliver 750 TV lines and 960 × 576 pixel colour images in low light. The aluminium-zinc housing meets IP67 waterproofing for all-weather use.

Vehicles with 12 V RCA Video Input

Drivers who need a single wired camera for cars, vans or trucks with a compatible 12 V display will find the long cable and adjustable mount straightforward to install. Buyers whose monitor only accepts wireless signals or lacks an RCA video input cannot use this kit. Those requiring multiple camera angles or integrated parking sensors should consider a different system.

CVBS or AHD Signal Selection

The camera ships in CVBS mode; the orange loop must remain uncut for monitors that only support CVBS. Cutting the orange loop switches the output to AHD, but only if the head unit explicitly supports that format. Cutting the white loop changes the image to rear-view orientation, while cutting the green loop toggles guide lines on or off. A monitor restart is required after any loop is cut for the image to display correctly.
