2U 10-inch rack mount for Raspberry Pi

This 2U mounting rack fits Raspberry Pi 5, 4B, 3B+ and 3B boards inside a standard 10-inch server cabinet. The aluminium and steel frame provides a rigid platform that keeps the single-board computers secure during continuous operation. Front brackets can be removed individually to suit different cable routing or airflow requirements. The unit is designed to integrate with DeskPi RackMate T0, T1 and T2 cabinets as well as other 10-inch racks.

Capacity: up to four boards in 2U

The rack accepts up to four Raspberry Pi units within the 2U height, giving a compact cluster for edge compute or home-lab services. Each board sits on its own mounting points so power and network cables stay organised. The 10-inch width limits the total number of nodes to four, so larger deployments will need additional rack units or a wider cabinet. No Pi boards or PCIe to M.2 NVMe adapters are included in the package.

Thermals and power in normal use

The open metal construction lets ambient air flow freely around each board, so passive cooling is often sufficient for light workloads. Under sustained load the aluminium rails help spread heat, but the rack itself adds no active cooling or power distribution. Builders who need forced airflow or redundant power supplies must add their own fans and PDUs separately.
