The Zoom PodTrak P4next is a portable multitrack recorder designed for shows with up to four people. It captures each microphone on its own track so every host or guest can be edited independently. Four XLR inputs accept dynamic or condenser microphones and supply up to +70dB of gain for low-output models. Each channel has a dedicated gain knob and mute button. Four headphone outputs with individual volume controls let every participant hear the mix without a separate distribution amplifier. A 32GB microSD card stores the multitrack files, and the recorder runs on four standard AA cells for location work.
