Extended-range 1D imager

The Zebra LI3678-ER3U4210S1W is a cordless handheld scanner built around an extended-range 1D linear imager. It reads standard linear barcodes from a greater working distance than typical short-range units. The scanner ships as a complete USB kit that includes the scanner, cradle, USB cable, power supply and line cord. It targets warehouse, manufacturing and retail staff who need mobility across aisles or loading docks.

Bluetooth link and cradle power

The scanner connects to the host via Bluetooth and pairs with the supplied STB3678 cradle, which in turn links to the host over USB. The cradle handles charging and data handoff, so no separate charger is required. Input voltage ranges from 4.5 VDC minimum to 12.6 VDC maximum, matching the included PWR-14000-148R supply. The 30.7 degree horizontal field of view and ±65 degree pitch and yaw tolerances let operators scan at varied angles without precise alignment.

Ruggedised for all-shift use

A sealed, industrial-green housing is rated to survive 8.00 ft drops onto concrete and meets rugged specifications for dust and moisture exposure. At 0.94 lb the unit remains light enough for continuous handheld use across a full shift. The extended-range optics maintain consistent decode rates on high-density and low-contrast labels even after repeated impacts, reducing re-scan delays during sustained picking or inventory cycles.
