Kit contents and fitment

The seven-piece blue LED kit replaces every interior bulb in the 2010-2013 Mazda 3 sedan and hatchback. Map lights, dome light, rear hatch or trunk light, glove box light and licence-plate light are all included. A trim-removal tool is supplied so the swap is completely plug-and-play with no modifications required. Buyers with other model years or body styles cannot use this kit.

Output, efficiency and longevity

Each LED is rated at roughly five times the brightness of the factory incandescent bulbs while drawing about half the power. The manufacturer quotes a 30,000-hour average lifespan, which for typical driving means the bulbs will likely outlast the vehicle. The kit is not suited for owners who prefer the warmer colour temperature of the original lighting.

Build and daily implications

The plug-and-play design means each bulb seats directly into the existing sockets, so no wiring changes or soldering are needed. The included tool helps release the trim clips without damage, making the whole installation a quick driveway job. Because the LEDs run cooler than incandescents, there is less heat stress on the surrounding plastic lenses over time.
