WUQ
32-bit control board with ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller at 180MHz, 512Kb flash, eight driver sockets, six PWM fans and CAN Bus for Klipper or Marlin 3D printers
The WUQ Octopus V1.1 uses an ARM Cortex-M4 STM32F446ZET6 microcontroller running at 180MHz with 512Kb flash ROM. It accepts only 24V input and provides eight driver sockets for TMC2209 stepper motor drivers. The board is designed for Voron 2.4, CoreXY and VZbot machines running Klipper or Marlin firmware.
Upgrading from an 8-bit board adds 32-bit processing and a CAN Bus link via an ethernet connector for simple expansion board attachment. The jump is worth it when the printer requires six controllable PWM fans plus two additional fans with selectable 5V, 12V or 24V voltage, or when a BTT Pi V1.2 or Pi 2 will host Klipper.
A USB Type C port powers the MCU for programming when the jumper cap is fitted; otherwise the 24V supply must be on. DFU mode writes firmware directly from a PC without a bootloader and is not recommended for novice users. The board also supports Eddy V1.0, BLTOUCH, Microprobe, SFS V2.0 filament sensor, power loss detection and TFT35 or TFT50/70 displays.

The board only supports a 24 V input; a 12 V supply is not allowed and will not power the board.
Fit the jumper cap onto the 5 V USB power pin, then connect the Type C port to the PC; remove the jumper when running from the main 24 V supply.
The sockets accept TMC2209 modules, giving up to eight axes of silent 32-bit motor control.
