Extender for 1080p up to 60 metres

This HDMI KVM extender sends video, USB keyboard and mouse signals and IR commands over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It connects a PC, laptop or DVR to a remote display up to sixty metres away at 1080p resolution. The sender unit adds a local HDMI loop output so the source monitor stays active. The receiver provides two HDMI outputs for simultaneous viewing on two screens.

Cat5e/6 transmission behaviour

Signal quality is maintained over standard IEEE-568B Cat5e or Cat6 cable without configuration. The extender supports 1080p at distances of thirty, forty-five or sixty metres depending on cable grade. Progressive and interlaced formats up to 1080p at fifty or sixty hertz are transmitted. Power consumption figures are not supplied by the manufacturer.

Dual-monitor receiver with IR

The receiver includes two HDMI outputs that mirror the same 1080p image, allowing two displays to show identical content at the same time. An IR extension channel lets a remote control operate the source device from the receiver location. USB keyboard and mouse signals travel over the same Cat5e/6 link.
