The Wiegmann RHC302408 is a carbon-steel electrical enclosure rated NEMA 3R for outdoor wall mounting. It measures 30 in height by 24 in width by 8 in depth with a 14 ga body and a painted gray finish. A hinged solid cover secures with a 1/4-turn latch and includes a hasp and staple for padlocking. External mounting plates and a 3A924 interior panel are provided. The unit carries CSA, cULus and UL Listed certifications.

Suited for outdoor power distribution

Installers running outdoor service entrances, generator hook-ups or lighting controls will find the rain-tight rating and padlockable hasp appropriate. The usable opening depth of 7.88 in limits the size of breakers, terminal blocks or contactors that can be fitted. Buyers who need a deeper cavity for large motor starters or who require a sub-panel larger than the supplied 3A924 should look at other enclosures.
