The Westcott Scrim Jim Cine Kit provides a 6x6 ft modular frame for photographers and cinematographers who need portable light control. It includes four 46" and four 22" anodized aluminium tubes with 2D corner and straight connectors for quick assembly. A 3/4-stop diffuser and reversible silver/white bounce fabric attach via heavy-duty touch fasteners. The kit packs into a carry case with a transport strap for location work.

Diffusion and bounce limits

The 3/4-stop diffuser softens light without shifting colour temperature or affecting skin tones, but it reduces output by a fixed amount. The silver side of the bounce fabric adds contrast and specular highlights, while the white side offers a softer fill. Both fabrics measure 6x6 ft, so coverage is limited to that area and larger scenes require multiple kits or bigger frames.

Anodised aluminium frame and connectors

Heavy-duty anodised aluminium tubes resist corrosion and wear during repeated assembly. The 2D corner and straight connectors lock the 46" and 22" sections into a rigid 6x6 ft rectangle that holds fabric taut.
