Compact global-shutter module for high-speed capture

The Weinandianzi AR0234 camera module pairs a 1/2.6-inch sensor with a USB3.0 Type-C interface, delivering 1920x1080 resolution at up to 120 frames per second. Global exposure eliminates rolling-shutter distortion, making it suitable for document scanning, barcode reading and machine-vision tasks that demand accurate frame timing. Output formats include MJPEG, YUY2, NV12, H.264 and H.265 across multiple resolutions.

Fits tight spaces with flexible mounting

The main board measures 40x29x9.9 mm and the FPC section 196.76x26x24.5 mm, allowing integration into compact enclosures or robotic arms. A single USB3.0 Type-C connection supplies both data and power, removing the need for an external supply. The fixed-focus M12 lens provides a 100-degree diagonal field of view, while software controls handle brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, sharpness, gamma, white balance, backlight compensation and exposure on Windows 10, Windows 11, Android and Linux.

Consistent frame rates under continuous operation

Global-shutter readout ensures every line of the 1920x1080 frame is captured simultaneously, so motion artefacts do not accumulate during long scanning sessions. At 1080p the module sustains 120 FPS in MJPEG and H.264/H.265 modes, and 60 FPS in YUY2 and NV12 modes, with lower resolutions also reaching 120 FPS. The 3.0 µm pixels and f/2.7 aperture maintain stable exposure across varying document lighting, while the IR 650 nm filter suppresses near-infrared interference during extended use.
