12 MP USB 3.0 camera module

The Weinandianzi accessory uses a 1/2.3-inch IMX577 CMOS sensor to deliver 12 megapixel stills and 4K video at 4000 by 3000 pixels. A fixed-focus lens provides a 100.2 degree diagonal field of view suited to document capture. UVC compliance enables plug-and-play operation on Windows, Android, Linux and macOS without extra drivers. The board-level PCB plus FPC design targets integrators and developers building custom imaging rigs.

Thermals noise and power over USB 3.0

Power and data travel over a single high-speed USB 3.0 connection rated at 5 Gbps, eliminating the need for an external power supply. The module draws its operating current directly from the host port, keeping cable count low and heat output minimal in typical indoor use. No active cooling is fitted, so the unit runs silently during extended capture sessions. Rolling-shutter readout and 25 fps maximum frame rate keep sustained power demand modest.

Build connectors and daily mounting

The bare PCB and flexible circuit measure 40 by 29 by 9.9 millimetres, allowing installation in tight enclosures or on custom brackets. A default 1.5 metre USB Type-C cable provides reach for desktop or kiosk setups without strain relief concerns. Software controls expose brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, sharpness, gamma, white balance, backlight compensation and exposure for fine-tuning per scene. Fixed focus removes moving parts, reducing mechanical wear in high-cycle document scanning workflows.
