RF cordless operation and 5.5 inch read range

The RF cordless link removes the cable so the scanner can move freely around a counter, stockroom or loading bay. Its 1D engine decodes standard linear symbols at distances up to 5.5 inches, letting staff scan items on shelves or pallets without leaning in.

1D-only decoding and RF range limits

The scanner reads only 1D barcodes, so it cannot capture QR codes, Data Matrix or other 2D symbologies that some modern labels use. RF performance depends on the local environment; metal shelving, thick walls or other wireless gear can shorten the effective working distance below the rated maximum.
