The Wanqueen trap is a reusable pest-control device built from waterproof ABS plastic. Limits of Mechanical Capture

The trap relies entirely on a baited trigger pad and spring-loaded doors, so effectiveness drops if rodents learn to avoid the entry tunnels or if bait is removed without tripping the mechanism. It cannot catch multiple animals at once and must be emptied and reset after each capture. Heavy rain or debris can obstruct the channels despite the waterproof shell.

Bait is inserted from underneath, the switch is pressed, and the unit is placed along known rodent paths. The most frequent issue is incorrect switch engagement, which leaves the doors open and the trap inactive.
