This USB 2.0 to RS232 adapter converts a standard USB port into a DB9 female serial connection for legacy equipment. It is built around the Prolific PL2303 chipset and supports Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Linux and Mac OS. Replaces a Native Serial Port

Check Compatibility Before Ordering

Confirm that your peripheral uses a DB9 male connector, because this cable provides a female DB9 socket. Ensure the device operates at standard RS232 voltage levels; the adapter is not designed for specialised protocols such as those used by cutting plotters.
