What this cable does

This .5 m USB-C extension cable carries Thunderbolt 4 signals at 40 Gbps and delivers up to 240 W of power through USB PD 3.1. It supports a single 8K display at 60 Hz or dual 4K displays at 60 Hz. The male-to-female design extends an existing connection for docks, hubs, SSDs, eGPU enclosures or high-resolution monitors.

Check before ordering

Your host port and the device you are extending must both support the speeds and power levels you need. The cable is backwards compatible with USB 3.2, 3.1, 3.0 and 2.0, but maximum throughput and 240 W charging require USB 4 or Thunderbolt 4 endpoints. Verify that your source and sink devices negotiate PD 3.1 at 48 V/5 A for full power delivery.
