This Vszerda cable extends a motherboard USB 3.0 19/20-pin header by 30 cm using a 90-degree female-to-female design. It suits builders who need to route the front-panel connector around tight chassis corners or replace a damaged header cable. The right-angle plugs save space and simplify internal wiring. Tin-plated copper conductors, aluminium shielding and a PVC jacket provide three-layer EMI protection.

Capacity and headroom

The link operates at USB 3.0 speeds up to 5 Gbps and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. It comfortably handles typical front-panel ports, card readers or external drive bays that connect to a 19-pin or 20-pin header. The 30 cm length offers enough reach for most mid-tower builds but will fall short in full-tower cases where the header sits far from the front panel.

Interface limits

The cable uses the USB 3.0 19/20-pin header standard found on many desktop motherboards. It does not support the newer USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 20 Gbps header pinout, so boards that only expose that connector cannot use this extender. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation, yet repeated insertion cycles will eventually wear the friction fit. No active circuitry is present, so signal integrity depends entirely on the host controller and the quality of the mating header.
