Compact Touch Dimmer for LED Strips

The Vszerda controller provides stepless brightness adjustment for single-colour LED strips running at 12 or 24 volts. A finger press turns the lights on or off, while a long hold fades them up or down in a continuous cycle. Rated for a 2A drive current, it suits accent lighting, under-cabinet runs or signage where a small inline unit is preferred.

Thermal Behaviour and Power Draw

The plastic shell measures 40 by 20 by 11 millimetres and operates from minus 20 to plus 80 degrees Celsius without active cooling. Quiescent consumption sits at microampere level, so standby drain on the DC supply is negligible. Under load the device simply passes the required current to the LEDs, adding no audible noise or measurable heat to the installation.

Wiring and Integration

A default 5.5 millimetre DC connector is fitted for plug-and-play connection to compatible power supplies and strip leads. The input voltage must match the LED strip voltage — 12 volts in, 12 volts out, or 24 volts in, 24 volts out — so the builder selects the appropriate supply. No software, remote or additional modules are bundled; control is entirely through the touch surface on the unit itself.
