Tight-chassis SATA cable redirect

This pair of 90-degree SATA 7-pin male-to-female adapters lets you reroute a drive cable from vertical to horizontal inside a desktop case. They are built for builders working in limited-height chassis where a straight connector will not fit. The metal-and-plastic body measures about 1.3 by 1.2 cm. Two pieces are included for dual-drive setups.

Capacity and headroom

Each adapter simply changes the cable exit angle without altering the SATA signal path, so it supports any standard SATA SSD or hard drive at full interface speed. There is no active circuitry, so bandwidth and latency remain identical to a direct connection. The only limit is physical clearance; the right-angle bend needs roughly 1.3 cm of depth behind the drive or motherboard port.

Build integration

Plug the male end into a motherboard or controller SATA port and attach your existing 7-pin cable to the female end. No extra power, drivers or configuration are required.
