PCI Express x1 to 7-Port USB 3.0 Expansion

This card adds seven USB 3.0 ports to a desktop PC through a single PCI Express x1 slot. It provides five USB Type-A and two USB Type-C connectors for peripherals such as keyboards, mice, external drives, printers and cameras. The board draws power directly from the PCIe slot so no extra power cable is needed. It fits x1, x4, x8 or x16 slots and includes a full-profile bracket.

Sustained 5 Gbps Transfer Across Multiple Ports

The host controller complies with the USB 3.0 specification for signalling rates up to 5 Gbps. Real-world throughput depends on the connected device and system load, but the PCIe x1 lane supplies enough bandwidth for several ports to operate near their limit simultaneously. Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ensures older peripherals still function at their native speeds. Driver installation is required for Windows XP, Vista and 7 while Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.8.2 or later work plug-and-play.

Low-Profile Thermal Profile and Silent Operation

With no onboard fan or active cooling, the card runs silently and adds negligible heat inside the chassis. Power consumption stays within the PCIe slot envelope, so total system draw increases only by the attached USB devices. The simple PCB layout and lack of moving parts make it reliable for continuous operation in standard desktop cases.
