Vszerda
A 6 ft optical digital audio cable with 2.2 mm diameter and gold-plated Toslink connectors carries PCM and 5.1 to 7.1 surround sound between TVs, sound bars, consoles and players
This Vszerda optical digital audio cable uses a Toslink S/PDIF interface to carry uncompressed PCM and compressed 5.1 to 7.1 surround sound between compatible devices. It is intended for home theatre systems, sound bars, TVs, game consoles and CD or Blu-ray players that have a square optical port.
The optical link transmits digital audio only and cannot carry video or control signals. Bandwidth is sufficient for standard PCM and common surround formats, but very high-resolution multi-channel streams may exceed what the interface supports.
The 2.2mm outer diameter makes the cable easy to route behind furniture or through tight gaps. Removable rubber tips protect the polished ends during handling; forgetting to remove them before insertion is the most common reason the link fails to work.

This cable is 6 feet long with a 2.2 mm outer diameter, making it a slim choice for tight spaces behind TVs or sound bars.
It carries uncompressed PCM and compressed 5.1 to 7.1 surround including Digital Plus, DTS-HD High Resolution and LPCM through the optical link.
The square Toslink connector passes digital optical audio up to 5.1 or 7.1 compressed formats but cannot transport lossless multi-channel codecs such as Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio.
