Connect Oculink to U.2/U.3 NVMe drives

This cable bridges an Oculink SFF-8611 male port on a motherboard or controller to a U.2 or U.3 SFF-8639 female NVMe SSD. It supports PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 x4 signalling for high-throughput storage. The 50 cm length suits typical chassis routing. The cable is sold alone without an adapter or add-in card.

Requires SATA power and compatible host port

A free SATA power connector from the PSU must supply the drive side because the U.2/U.3 connector does not carry power. The host system needs an available Oculink SFF-8611 interface, such as those found on certain Intel SSD 750 M.2 installations or Ultra M.2 cards. No extra drivers are needed beyond standard NVMe support in the OS.

SATA power lead enables direct drive operation

The integrated SATA power pigtail removes the need for a separate drive power cable or backplane. This simplifies cabling when installing a U.2/U.3 SSD directly into a desktop or workstation. The bundle contains only the cable assembly; mounting hardware and any required bracket are not included.
