Two-pack wired headset microphones

This set supplies two lightweight headset microphones with a 3.5 mm connector and a 1.2 m cable. They are intended for voice amplifiers, PCs with a dedicated microphone jack, and similar 3.5 mm aux audio devices. The unidirectional capsules target the speaker's mouth for clear pickup during presentations, teaching, coaching or singing. Each unit weighs very little and uses an adjustable ear-hook design.

3.5 mm jack limits and placement

The 3.5 mm plug carries only analogue microphone signal and requires a separate microphone input; it will not work on combined headset ports or smartphone TRRS sockets. Sensitivity is rated at -52 dB ± 3 dB with a signal-to-noise ratio above 60 dB, so the source device must supply approximately 2.0 V bias voltage and present a 2.2 kΩ load for correct operation. The 100 Hz to 16 kHz response covers speech but not extended high-frequency detail. Cable length is fixed at 120 cm.

Check your device before ordering

Verify that your amplifier, PC or recorder provides a dedicated 3.5 mm microphone input supplying plug-in power. Combined headphone/microphone jacks, smartphone sockets and line-level AUX inputs are not compatible. Position the microphone capsule 10 mm to 15 mm from the mouth with the sound port aimed directly at the lips. Avoid frequent unplugging to prevent contact wear. The package contains two microphones only; no adapters or windscreens are included.
