The Vixic D210S is a handheld label printer with a built-in QWERTY keyboard and a 4-line display. It requires no smartphone app or computer connection to operate, making it suitable for home, classroom and office organisation tasks such as labelling school supplies, storage bins and kitchen containers. The package includes four laminated tapes each 26.2 ft long and 0.47 in wide. Power is supplied via the included 2.6 ft USB-C cable or six AAA batteries not included.

USB power and tape constraints

The device draws power only through its USB-C port or optional alkaline batteries; it has no internal rechargeable cell. Printing is limited to the 12 mm tape width supplied, and the manufacturer states that only Vixic-certified BZ tapes with the required chip should be used to avoid feed errors or faded output. The laminated tapes are rated to withstand water, abrasion, fading and temperature extremes for up to 10 years.

Stand-alone setup and common issues

Setup consists of inserting a tape cassette, connecting the USB-C cable or fitting batteries, and typing directly on the keyboard — no software installation is required. The most frequent problem is using non-certified tapes, which the manufacturer warns can cause misfeeds or poor print quality. Ensure the tape cassette clicks securely into place and that the cutter lever is fully closed before printing.
