6 Port Line Concentrator

The Viking Electronics VKLC6 connects up to six emergency phones on a single line. It is designed for elevator phones, emergency phones and Area-of-Refuge phones where multiple handsets must share a connection. The unit provides automatic answering of inbound calls and Touch Tone transferring between connected devices. A separate Fire Floor phone port adds dedicated routing for critical locations.

Suited for multi-phone emergency installations

This concentrator fits buildings that need several emergency phones on one line, such as elevator banks or refuge areas. It also supports conferencing of all off-hook phones and the re-dialing feature of Viking 1600A series phones. Installations requiring more than six phones or a different line interface should consider other solutions.

6 port capacity with Fire Floor port

The decisive specification is the six-port limit combined with a dedicated Fire Floor phone port, plus Machine Room and Lobby phone ports. A programmable daily line verification check ensures the line remains operational. If the project needs more than six connected phones, this model will not meet the requirement.
