The ViewSonic PS502X is a new XGA business projector built for education and small-office spaces. It delivers 4000 ANSI lumens brightness and a 15000:1 static contrast ratio with a native 1024 x 768 resolution. The 0.61 throw ratio produces a 100-inch image from 1.24 metres, keeping presenters clear of the beam.

Dual HDMI and USB Power Simplify Connections

Two HDMI 1.4 ports with HDCP 1.4 let users attach a laptop and a media player simultaneously and switch inputs with one button press. The USB Type-A port supplies 5V/1.5A to power wireless HDMI dongles for cable-free streaming. A 16 W speaker handles audio without external amplification, while monitor-out and audio-out ports support larger room systems.

Suited to Bright Rooms with Fixed Layouts

The short-throw lens and high lumen output suit classrooms and meeting rooms where ambient light cannot be fully controlled and mounting distance is limited. Vertical keystone correction of ±19° helps square the image when the projector sits on a desk or low shelf. Buyers needing widescreen native resolution, lens shift or built-in wireless casting should consider other models.
