The Viega ProPress XL tee joins three copper tubes using press-fit connections on every port. Two outlets accept 2-1/2 in copper tube size while the branch reduces to 1-1/2 in, allowing a single fitting to transition pipe diameter in potable water systems. A centre-stop dimple and EPDM O-ring are built in to seat the tubes at the correct depth and provide a watertight seal.

Replaces threaded or soldered reducing tees

Press connections remove the need for open flame, flux or pipe thread compound on copper installations. The jump is worth it when a project demands faster assembly, consistent joint quality and a 200 psi pressure rating without the variability of hand-soldered or threaded joints. Overall length is 5 31/32 in, matching standard layout dimensions for retrofit or new work.
